In 2007 we produced and presented Onlineshop2007 - a conference and exhibition dedicated to Australia's growing online shopping sector.
In 2008 we intended to repeat the event. But we decided instead to provide regular information and news updates through our eCommerce Report newsletter.
For example, in a recent issue we reported estimates that 6 million Australian adults are active online shoppers and that some 8.6 million have shopped online at least once.
Drawing on sources such as market researchers - ACNielsen - we reported (in 2008) estimates that, of the different Australian state populations, Victorians spend the most online.
Indeed we reported that Victorians online spend was estimated at around $900 per month.
However, people from NSW - Australia's most populous state, were estimated to spend slightly more time shopping online, between 5 and 6 hours a week.
